CASTLEGATE AND Wellington Square helps customers take some ‘me time’ as summer events programmes comes to a successful end.
Inspired by the ‘Wheel of Wellbeing’ we invited the local community to get back on track to having a balanced lifestyle.
Our first event saw us look at ‘BODY’ where children and adults of all ages took to our exercise bikes and turned their energy into a healthy smoothie drink. With a score board there was plenty of competition with Castlegate’s own Security Guard (and Norton Ladies goalkeeper) taking first place!
Our next event looked at ‘MIND.’ Here we welcomed a whole host of brain teaser games and families thoroughly enjoyed our giant operation, electric buzzer and Batak machines! Our two high scorers were Shannon and Segun who won a £10 gift card each to spend in our stores.
Our third event saw us look at ‘PLACE’ where we held a crafts workshop using recycled items to decorate a mosaic of Stockton’s iconic Infinity Bridge. We used over 100 blue bottle tops and plenty of felt and silver disks to create the piece which will soon be available to see at Wellington Square.
For our final event we looked at ‘PEOPLE’ and the importance of connecting with others. Customers expressed themselves and danced the day away at our Silent Disco and it was amazing to see 25 people all doing the Cha Cha Slide in complete silence!
Chantal Taylor, Marketing Manager at Castlegate and Wellington Square, said: “Once again our free family events over the summer holidays were very popular.
“We loved bringing our ‘Wheel of Wellbeing’ events to the shopping centres and we hope everyone enjoyed getting involved and had plenty of fun.”
