DIY Photo Frames

MAY MARKS National Photography Month and to celebrate we’re creating our own frames to help jazz up our rooms!

Scrap Wood Frames
If you have scrap wood lying about, these rustic frames take just minutes to create and will make the perfect addition to any hipster-style home. All you need is scrap wood, twine, and embellishments.  Simply cut your boards to the right size, wrap twine around one end then stick on embellishments such as flowers or burlap – it’s that easy!

Denim Frame
If Britney Spears circa 2001 is your style inspo, then this denim frame is a must-do and this super easy no-sew frame will put your old jeans into to good use. All you need is an old photo-frame and super-glue. Follow this simple paper template to cut seams to the right size, stick down and make sure the seam follows the frame all the way round.

Vintage Map Frame
Show off your holiday pics with this stunning vintage map frame. You will need pallet wood, vintage maps and mod podge. After sanding down your pallet wood the next step is to cover the frame with mod podge and stick the printed maps face down. Leave it to dry out overnight then take your sponge, rub the paper away and TA-DA!
